Why not a general assistant (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot or another)?

Honest answer first: if you are on your own, on a single deliverable, a well-prompted general assistant is plenty. Nobody needs another tool for that.

Three cases change the answer. If none of them is your problem, you should not buy Elicira.

01

The BPMN has to open in the team’s tool

Ask a general assistant for BPMN XML and you often get a file your modeller refuses. Research measures the problem: direct XML generation is “verbose, slow, and prone to syntax errors”. Elicira computes the layout before export, so the diagram opens already laid out in bpmn.io or Camunda Modeler.

02

Twelve deliverables over six months have to stay consistent

A project workspace shares a context; it does not check that your story #12 contradicts the glossary written in March, or that a requirement is covered by no process step. Elicira compares your deliverables with each other and hands you the gaps to arbitrate. This is what the BABOK calls traceability (task 5.1).

03

The upstream work, before the ticket exists

Assistants wired into a backlog assume the backlog already exists. Copilot4DevOps runs inside Azure DevOps, Atlassian Intelligence inside the Atlassian stack. Elicitation, blind spots and framing happen before that, and that is where Elicira works. Nothing to install, no tool imposed.

“We already have Copilot in our M365 licence”

Then one setting is worth checking, and it is documented by Microsoft itself. Since 25 March 2026, “flex routing” is on by default for eligible tenants created after that date. When it is on, LLM inferencing may occur in the United States, Canada or Australia during peak demand, outside the EU Data Boundary. Data at rest stays inside the boundary, apart from limited pseudonymized data.

The honest half of the fact: this is reversible. An administrator disables it for free in the admin center (Copilot, Settings, View all, Flex routing), and Microsoft documents exactly how. The point is not that it is a trap, it is that it was decided for you. Note also that Multi-Geo tenants are out of scope for the EU Data Boundary and do not get the setting at all.

What we do not claim

Our product asks you to arbitrate what the AI proposes. It would be odd to hand you a sales page you cannot arbitrate.

Inference residency is not our pitch

Your prompts are processed by Fireworks, in the United States, under standard contractual clauses. ChatGPT Enterprise offers inference residency in Europe, we do not. On this specific point a general assistant is ahead of us, and our privacy policy says so plainly.

They do not train on your data

That is the argument you will hear elsewhere and it is false for OpenAI’s enterprise plans. We will not use it.

ChatGPT can write user stories

And rather well, in French as in English. Our value is not that the model is better, it is that you do not have to reinvent the prompt and the output structure for every deliverable.

If you already model in Signavio or Camunda

Their text-to-process generation is native, inside a modeller where an invalid diagram is structurally impossible. On modelling alone, they are on home ground.
